Service four

What this service delivers and who it is for.

How it works

A simple, low-pressure start, no commitment required before you feel comfortable.

Get in touch

Send a message through the form or by direct message, a brief note about where you're at is plenty to start.

Have a conversation

Sam will have a relaxed chat to understand what you're looking for and explain how sessions work, so you can decide if it feels right.

Choose your format

Pick one-on-one, small group, or online, whichever suits your week, and lock in a time to get started.

Start moving

Your first session is about getting comfortable and learning how your body moves, not about pushing hard from day one.

Personal training on your terms

Calm, not chaotic

Sam's sessions are quiet, focused, and body-aware, nothing like the high-intensity gym environment most desk workers dread.

Strength and mobility together

Each session weaves strength work, mobility, and breathwork into one coherent hour, not three separate things bolted together.

Genuinely flexible formats

One-on-one in Grey Lynn or Ponsonby, small groups in the park, or online check-ins, you pick what suits the week.

Common questions

Do I need to be fit to start?
Not at all. Sessions are built around where you are right now, not some assumed fitness baseline. If you've been sitting at a desk for years, that's a perfectly normal starting point.
What's the difference between one-on-one and the park group?
One-on-one sessions are fully personal and structured around your body specifically. The park group is small and still attentive, it's just a bit more social and outdoors.
Are these sessions suitable for someone with back or neck pain?
Sam works with people who carry tension and discomfort from desk work, but these are personal training sessions, not physiotherapy or medical treatment. If you have an existing injury or condition, check with your GP or physio first.
How do I know which format suits me?
Drop Sam a message and have a quick chat. There's no pressure to commit, the conversation is just about working out what fits your schedule and what you're looking for.
Can I do online sessions if I'm not in Auckland?
Yes. The online check-in format works wherever you have a bit of space and a video connection. Get in touch to discuss what that would look like.
